Hobbies other than stable and duties
I grew up with horses and have had colored horses since childhood. The paint horses are - so to speak - in my blood. I had my first encounter with these animals early on and learned the first steps in a western saddle from an American trainer (who was stationed in Germany as a soldier). But since there were no Western riding schools in Germany and Austria at the time, I earned my spurs in classic English riding. Jumping and versatility were my favorites. Later, more and more dressage was added. In 2004 I bought my first American Paint Horse, a 1 1/2 year old buckskin tobiano stallion. Then two quarter horses were added before we - my two kids and I - brought more Paints into the stable. Today there are five Paint Horses, one Haflinger and two Quarter Horses in our stable. Motorcycle / UTV
Another hobby is riding my motorcycle / UTV, provided I have a little time. In my "stable" there is a real classic bike: a BMW R 60/5 built in 1970 and a Kymco UXV 700 Turf. While the BMW is now largely retired at the age of 50, the Kymco UXV is just getting started. As a small, robust work donkey, it helps on the farm and in the fields, but is also there for some fun on the weekend.
And then there are the handicrafts on the websites. I love to experiment on my websites and apologize to anyone who is annoyed by me. Nevertheless, I try to provide useful information and current news on my pages.
